If you’re looking for a contemporary venue with lots of local history, The Powerhouse is the perfect venue for you and yours. Originally constructed in 1917 as The Schoellkopf Powerhouse and then operating as the Buffalo Color Corporation plant, the building was once home to a leader in dye and color products. After sitting vacant for decades, this 22,000-square-foot space was reimagined into an expansive industrial-chic haven accommodating up to 500 wedding guests. Imagine the memories you could make in a space beloved for exposed brick, lofty ceilings, Georgian-esque arches, outdoor patios and a private suite.

Couples getting married at The Powerhouse can also use outdoor spaces on the premises. The rooftop offers a stunning view of the city and the nearby waterfront, perfect for first looks. Down below, the venue has three outdoor patio spaces with plenty of seating. Fireplaces, Adirondack chairs and lawn games can all be provided.
