Warm, sunny days. Endless fun and relaxation. Escape from everyday responsibilities. Spring break is an opportunity to get away for a mental reset. For golfers, a spring break golf trip to Florida is a must, with its world-famous greens and fairways. Still, it’s no secret that traditional golf courses can be a bit stuffy. No one wants that kind of buzz kill, especially on spring break. Luckily, that’s not the case at Palm Beach National. In fact, the Nash (as it’s often called) encourages guests to let loose and have a great time with unique amenities.

Welcome to the Par-Tee

Located in Lake Worth just south of West Palm Beach, Palm Beach National was built in 1962 by legendary course architect Joe Lee. This 18-hole course features brand-new bunkers, all-new expertly maintained Tiff Eagle greens and manicured Bermuda grass fairways surrounded by a beautiful nature preserve. While every hole offers its own set of challenges, including water hazards, golfers get to experience two signature holes for even higher stakes.

Multiple Ways to Play

The Nash also has a Toptracer Technology Driving Range Bay on site equipped with a full bar, food service and lounge seating. Whether you’re looking to whack a few balls or amp up your game, Toptracer is perfect for all guests. This innovative new range also inspired the Nash’s new Smashers On app, allowing guests to download and participate virtually in Smashers On Golf Tour competitions. When the sun goes down, guests won’t want to miss the new illuminated nighttime golf with virtual course experiences, including a Pebble Beach simulator. Other evening events include a monthly Glow in the Dark night, which transforms the back nine into a two-person scramble backdropped by laser lights and glowing golf balls.

Good Vibes Only

It’s not just the exceptional golfing that has earned the Nash an over 90% recommendation on Golf Pass. Instead, it’s the whole experience that leaves guests coming back eager for more. From the moment golfers step foot on the property, they are greeted by service with a smile. The only goal? Help every guest live their day to the fullest. The methods may be unconventional compared to traditional golf courses, but that’s how guests like it.

“We try to create an escape for guests to enjoy the day. One of our main slogans is to ‘Escape the day, it’s time to Play’ here at PBN. There are plenty of clubs in the area that provide a traditional golf atmosphere, but we want golfers to relax, have fun and enjoy the unique experience here at the Nash,” said Mike Dahlstrom, general manager and Nadia Dahlstrom, director of golf at Palm Beach National.

“The party begins once our guests arrive because the mission is to make them feel like a VIP guest with great customer service from the moment they walk in. We’re proud to appeal to all golfers, including the enthusiasts who love our quick rolling greens and pristine fairways, along with the casual golfers looking for a party-like atmosphere for their friends to hang out and enjoy a great round. Our goal at the end of the day is to make you smile as a guest.”

Additional Club Services and Amenities

Palm Beach National honors the game of golf and its traditions while driving a more engaging, exciting experience. Any rules that keep golfers from genuinely enjoying the game simply don’t exist at the Nash. There’s no official dress code, allowing golfers to dress for their own comfort. Guests who are 21 and older receive complimentary flavored rum shots to start the day off, which is certainly fitting for the spring break experience. Music can be heard throughout the clubhouse and can be accessed on carts with free-to-use Bluetooth speakers. When the post-golf hunger sets in, patrons can stroll over to the on-site Tiki Truck for casual outdoor dining or sip on cocktails on the beautifully lit patio.

While still under construction, PBN’s new clubhouse will be a must-visit. Located just steps away from the Toptracer range, this state-of-the-art facility will have a full-service bar with outstanding food, great music and comfortable seating. The Nash is also undergoing other upgrades in the clubhouse common and practice areas. Visit our ClubHub to see the latest updates!
